One two-month journey around the Land Down Under was terminated days after the death of an older lady who was stranded by the ship on a isolated island.

The passenger had been trekking on the remote island with other travelers from the Coral Adventurer, but separated from the excursion for a rest. The liner departed without her and came back after some time after the personnel discovered the passenger was not present.

A major hunt found her body the following day.

Investigative bodies are examining the incident, together with law enforcement and the official investigator.

Head of the shipping company announced that travelers and crew on the ship were notified that the continuation of the cruise had been terminated due to the "tragic passing and previous mechanical issues".
